All the tools you need to organize PDF pages

Every feature is available in a single drag-and-drop interface — no menu-hunting required.

Drag to reorder
Drag any page thumbnail to a new slot. Works on desktop and mobile with pointer events. Drop indicators show exactly where the page will land.
Rotate pages
Rotate individual pages CW, CCW, or 180°. Rotation is applied on top of the original page rotation — no quality loss at all.
Delete pages
Remove any page with one click on the card, or select multiple pages and delete them all together from the toolbar.
Duplicate pages
Create a copy of any page right next to the original. Useful for forms, certificates, or inserting repeated pages.
Multi-select with Shift
Click to select a page. Shift-click to range-select a group. Then rotate, delete, or duplicate all selected pages in one action.
Undo / Redo (50 levels)
Every action — reorder, rotate, delete, duplicate — is undoable. Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y keyboard shortcuts also work.
Reverse & Reset
Reverse the entire page order with one click. Or Reset to restore the original order and cancel all rotations instantly.
Zero quality loss
Pages are copied directly from the original PDF using pdf-lib — no re-rendering. Text, fonts, images, and vectors are perfectly preserved.

Common reasons to organize a PDF

PDF page order issues are more common than you might expect.

Scanner output is out of order
Duplex scanning often produces odd pages first, then even pages in reverse — resulting in a completely scrambled document. Drag to sort.
Pages scanned sideways
Landscape pages saved as portrait, or upside-down pages, are very common from phone scanning apps. Rotate individual pages to fix orientation.
Presenting or submitting a subset
Remove irrelevant pages before submitting to a portal or sharing with a client, so they only see what matters.
Reordering a merged document
When several PDFs are merged together, sections often need to be resequenced. Drag individual pages or groups into the correct order.
Quality note: This tool copies pages directly from the original PDF without re-rendering them. Text sharpness, embedded fonts, image resolution, and vector graphics are preserved exactly as they appear in the source file. Rotation is applied as a PDF metadata flag — not by re-drawing the page.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about organizing PDF pages online.

Yes, completely free. No account, no watermarks on output files, no page count limit, and no paid tier. The tool runs using open-source JavaScript libraries entirely inside your browser.
No. Pages are copied directly from the original PDF structure using pdf-lib, without any rendering or image conversion. Text stays sharp, fonts stay embedded, and images stay at their original resolution. Rotation is applied as a PDF rotation flag, not by redrawing the content.
No. Everything runs locally inside your browser tab using JavaScript. Your PDF is read from your device's memory, processed using pdf-lib, and downloaded back to your device. Nothing is sent to any server at any point.
Upload your PDF, then simply drag any page thumbnail to a new position. A blue drop indicator shows where the page will be inserted. Release to drop. When you are happy with the order, click Apply and Download to save the reorganized PDF.
Yes. Hover over any page thumbnail to reveal the action buttons. Click the rotate left or rotate right button to rotate that single page. You can also select multiple pages and rotate them all at once using the toolbar at the top.
Hover over a page thumbnail and click the X button to remove it. To delete multiple pages at once, click to select them (a blue highlight appears), then click Delete in the toolbar. The page count updates immediately to show what the output will contain.
Yes. Every action — reorder, rotate, delete, duplicate — is tracked in an undo history of up to 50 steps. Click Undo in the toolbar or press Ctrl+Z. Use Ctrl+Y (or Ctrl+Shift+Z) to redo. The Reset button restores the original page order and cancels all rotations in one step.
Yes. The drag-and-drop system uses Pointer Events, which work on both touch and mouse input. Tap and hold a page briefly, then drag it to reorder. The toolbar buttons and per-card action buttons are sized for comfortable touch targets. For very large PDFs on mobile, thumbnails render lazily to avoid memory pressure.
Yes, if you know the password. When you upload a locked PDF, the tool prompts you to enter the password. After unlocking, you can reorder, rotate, and edit pages normally. The password is used only in your local browser session and is never transmitted anywhere.
There is no hard limit. The practical limit is your device's available memory. Thumbnails load lazily using IntersectionObserver — only visible pages are rendered at any given time, so even a 500-page document loads quickly. On desktop browsers, PDFs with several hundred pages work without issue. Very large files on mobile may be slower due to tighter memory limits.
Why browser-based is better for sensitive documents
Contracts, legal filings, medical records, and financial documents are among the most common PDFs people need to reorganize. Uploading these to a third-party server — even temporarily — creates a privacy and security exposure. A fully browser-based tool eliminates that risk: your document is processed entirely in memory, and closing the tab immediately frees all data.
